Vartdal Plast has for the past 60 years been an innovator of products and solutions made from EPS (Expandable Polystyrene).
We were the fiirst company in the world to maek a fish box out of EPS.
The next 60 years we will be working towards making all our products circular and making new innovative products from recycled and fossil free raw materials.

We have five fully owned production facilities in different corners of Norway. In addition we have majority ownership and minority ownership in several companies. 

Our vision is to contribute to warm houses and food safety. Our foundation and insulation products for the building and construction sector are already well known in the Norwegian market. We are now transforming them into even more sustainable products by replacing fossil raw materials with fossil free and recycled raw materials. Our brand new product line which only consists of products made from recycled and fossil free raw materials is called VARTDAL LOOP.

In addition to having made a big commitment towards making our products circular (VARTDAL LOOP), we have also created the initiative 100 % VARTDAL PLAST. This is the umbrella under which we are focusing our resources on collecting, compacting and making sure that as much EPS as possible is taken back into the loop as products made from reycycled EPS. Our goal is to reuse the compacted EPS as raw material for new products.
